The first part about this company that caught our attention was we emailed them on Saturday approximately at noon to ask some questions never expecting a response yet that day. Also have been making wonderful snack sticks with all the grates that are supplied with this product as well. And we have made four batches of summer sausage 50 pounds each batch. I give this product a five star review! My brother, nephew, and I have been searching for a good quality vertical smoker for making our homemade summer sausage.

My review is on the The Pellet Pro® 2300 Vertical Double Wall Cabinet Pellet Smoker with Free Cover and Convection Fan $1,399.99. These guys rock! If you have an old pellet grill body that's the same standard Traeger clone and needs some new guts, give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed! Looking forward to many more years of use out of this bad boy. Talk about customer service! I installed the new keypad and put everything back together and my grill powered right up and all the buttons work again. Not only did they accept my troubleshooting and diagnosis without question, they sent me a new keypad free of charge and shipped it the same day, FedEx 2-day delivery. Dennis and Dan came through for me in a big way. I expected to have to buy a new keypad or a whole new controller. I checked the switches with my multimeter and sure enough those 3 were bad. I pulled the controller out and was pleasantly surprised to find that the keypad is a separate circuit board from the controller. Well after my unit was out of warranty, 3 buttons on the right side of the keypad stopped working one after the other first "high" then "+" then "pwr". Bolted right up without any issues, fired right up and worked great. I bought the PID Controller to replace a failing unit in a Traeger Texas BBQ075 grill, in 2018. My only real complaint is Ive been unable to find the mini logs like the two that were included, but the chunks available at every hardware store work just fine. The Heavy D does increase your cook temps a bit because of the wood heat, but Ive found I can just set the grill temp 20-40 degrees cooler than my desired temp and it ends up right in the sweet spot. And like everything else Ive bought from Smoke Daddy, its basically bomb proof heavy gauge steel. Unlike other smoke devices there is virtually no set up, just swap out your heat diffuser. Now i get the best of both worlds - set and forget convenience as well as consistent clean smoke, not just incremental as the grill feeds pellets. That said, I've always lamented the lack of smoke and true smoke flavor especially at higher temps. Now that Ive had that for a year, the convenience and consistently good product is too great a factor. Bottom line: If I ever must buy another smoker, which I doubt I will have to do because of the quality of the Pellet Pro, my first, and only, choice will be one from SmokeDaddy!Īfter years of smoking with charcoal and stick burning, a Traeger pellet grill fell into my lap. When I have called for assistance, a real person, in Illinois where SmokeDaddy is based, answers and has routed me to someone who was knowledgeable about my issue. In every instance I have needed guidance on using the Pellet Pro, Dennis himself, or one of the team, has gotten back to me promptly via e-mail.even on a Sunday, while I was still in the process of smoking. Beyond the initial purchase, I have been amazed at the level of Customer Service provided by Dennis and his team.

I was drawn to the SmokeDaddy Pellet Pro vertical smoker due to its capacity, what took both my Masterbuilt smokers can easily fit in the SmokeDaddy! The other reason I chose the SmokeDaddy was its obvious quality craftsmanship as well as the attention that the SmokeDaddy team paid to the design. One was a 30 inch and the other was a 40 inch. I bought my SmokeDaddy Pellet Pro vertical smoker about a year and a half ago to replace two electric Masterbuilt vertical smokers that had both of their electronic controllers go bad.
